About us

We are Swedish Club voting members who care deeply about the Swedish Club in Seattle.   We are giving our time, energy and effort to this as volunteers.  None of us are on staff at the Club. 

For those of you who have followed this website, you see that our logo recently changed from "Save Our Swedish Club" to "Support Our Swedish Club" to reflect the new paradigm at the Club.  The website address (URL) remains the same so you can easily find the site again.

With the April 14, 2024 election behind us and very recent changes in both the management and the Board of Directors in November 2024, we see a re-centering and renewal of Nordic values at the Club. Like you, we hope for a positive transition and renewed spirit within the whole Club.  

We are not asking you for money, but we do encourage you to donate to the Swedish Club or the Swedish Club Foundation.  Both are 501(c)(3) organizations.  

All we ask is that you bring your curiosity and open mind to Club meetings, engage in respectful and constructive discussions, ask thoughtful questions, and propose sincere ideas for improvement.
